Teon Blake was born in South London; From an early age he acknowledged his vivid imagination, expressing deep thoughts, through song and writing. He began as an actor and dancer and studied/trained at the B.R.I.T school, prior to that Pollyanna Theatre school, working with the likes of Madonna , The Streets, Dominic Savage amongst many others. Frequently called upon by the Royal Court theatres creative programme, that allows young writers to visualise their work. It wasn’t until a personal crisis in his life threatened that trajectory, that he found his voice and started to formulate ‘Fall to the Floor’ a short film that he wrote showing how easily dreams can crash before one’s eyes. It took an invitation to the ‘Baftas’ new writer’s event where he met John Griffin who became a friend and mentor, who gave him the kick up the ass he needed which catapulted him into the direction of mentors, Ivor Kayne (duke&earl), and Dean Ricketts (The watch man agency). The journey has started.
